All-Inclusive Resorts
Where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific — desert mountains, dramatic coastline, and one of the strongest all-inclusive lineups in Mexico.
Why Los Cabos for All-Inclusive?
Los Cabos — the resort corridor that runs from Cabo San Lucas to San José del Cabo along the southern tip of Baja California Sur — is one of the strongest all-inclusive destinations in Mexico. The landscape is the differentiator: dry desert mountains roll down to meet two oceans (the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific) at El Arco, the famous rock arch at land's end. Whales pass in winter, the snorkeling is excellent, and the weather is more consistent year-round than Mexico's Caribbean coast.
The corridor breaks into three pockets. Cabo San Lucas itself is the energy hub — restaurants, nightlife, the marina, day-trip boats. The Tourist Corridor along Highway 1 between Cabo and San José is where most of the upscale all-inclusives sit — terraced into the hillsides with private beaches. San José del Cabo at the east end is quieter, more colonial-town in feel, with a stronger arts scene.
Los Cabos rates favor the upmarket — there's less of the budget mass-market all-inclusive scene than Cancún or Punta Cana, but the high-end is genuinely world-class. Member rates show their biggest gaps here on the luxury properties: Le Blanc, Grand Velas, and the Pueblo Bonito flagships routinely show $200–$400/night discounts off public booking site rates.

Common Questions
Cabo San Lucas or the Tourist Corridor — what's the difference?
Cabo San Lucas (the town) is walkable, has the marina, restaurants, and nightlife. The Tourist Corridor — the 20-mile stretch of Highway 1 between Cabo and San José del Cabo — is where most upscale all-inclusives sit, set in private oceanfront enclaves with their own beach access. Pick the town if you want energy and dining; pick the corridor if you want quiet luxury and don't mind a 15-minute Uber to dinner.
Can you swim at the beaches in Cabo?
It depends on the beach. The Sea of Cortez side (east-facing beaches like Médano in Cabo and Palmilla in San José) is calm and great for swimming. The Pacific side has strong currents and rip tides at many beaches — most resorts on that coast have private protected coves or large pool complexes that compensate. Always check beach conditions and respect lifeguard flags.
What's the weather like year-round?
Los Cabos has 350+ days of sunshine annually. December through April is dry, warm (70s–80s°F), and the peak season. May through October sees more heat (90s°F) and the September–October hurricane window, though direct hits are less common than the Caribbean coast. November is shoulder season with great weather and lower rates.
Is it a long drive from the airport?
Los Cabos International (SJD) is in San José del Cabo. Transfers run 20–35 minutes to most Tourist Corridor resorts, and 35–45 minutes to Cabo San Lucas itself. Many high-end resorts include private transfers as part of the package; otherwise budget $80–$150 each way for a private SUV transfer or take the cheaper shared shuttle.
